Looking back at last season, it's probably one that the Washington Wizards and their fanbase are more than okay with putting in the past.
No, there weren't high expectations that the Wizards didn't live up to.
Nor did the team fall short of a goal they set, at least not one that the outside world knows about.
It was clear from the jump that last season was a rebuilding year, where the Wizards were locked in on the youth movement in Washington making the development of young players a priority.
Still, the ups-and-downs of the Wizards trying 82-game season had plenty of fans looking ahead to the offseason and hoping that Washington could put their medicore play in the past.
