Check out highlights from the Mystics’ private ring ceremony in Loudoun County

Under normal circumstances, the Washington Mystics would have received their 2019 WNBA championship rings at their season opener last month. However, there will be no games at the Entertainment and Sports Arena this year. There will be an abbreviated 22-game season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Instead of receiving their rings at a game, the returning players from last year’s team went to a private ceremony at the Salamander Resort and Spa in Middleburg, Va. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the area, Middleburg is a small town in western Loudoun County, a western D.
