However, one player in specific who was expected to take a major leap of his own was second-year man Bub Carrington.
Carrington was selected with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the same pick that Washington landed in the package that was sent by the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Deni Avdija.
