Bradley Beal named to the All-NBA Third Team

On Tuesday, the NBA announced that Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal was named to the All-NBA Third Team.

Beal averaged 31.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game for Washington, who made the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs this season. This is the first such honor for Beal in his NBA career, and he is the first Wizards player since John Wall (2016-17) to make the All-NBA team.

Washington was pretty close to having two players make the All-NBA team. Russell Westbrook received the most votes out of all guards who did not make the All-NBA team despite averaging a triple-double for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
