On Tuesday, the Wizards officially signed Jeff Green. Green last played for the Cavaliers where he averaged 10.8 points and 3.2 rebounds a game in a sixth man role for the Eastern Conference champions. He has played 10 seasons for multiple NBA teams where he was best known for being on the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma Thunder from 2007 to 2011 and the Boston Celtics from 2011 to 2015.
In a press release, Ernie Grunfeld said “Jeff is a proven veteran who will add to our frontcourt rotation with his ability to play and defend multiple positions.
