Good afternoon, Coug fans! Last night your Washington State Cougars battled out against No. 5 USC, and had their second conference double overtime draw, their third of this season.
Let’s break down the stats- first, with a little bright side! This draw broke USC’s 11 game winning streak, which was a program record. The Trojans hadn’t lost or tied since August 28th. That fact alone puts a little more pep in my step! Additionally, the Cougs are the first Pac 12 team to not allow USC to score!
This was also the second time this season that WSU didn’t score at least once.
