The 2019 Head of the Spokane:
>> The Washington State University women's rowing team will travel an hour and a half north to Spokane, to compete in the Head of The Spokane hosted by Gonzaga, Saturday, Oct. 19, and takes place on the Spokane river... the race is in head format, in which the boats start at intervals, racing both the clock and each other... the race covers a 5,000-meter stretch of the Spokane River.
