LOS ANGELES (October 29, 2021) – Washington State Women's Swimming produced 25 season-best times and senior Chloe Larson won the 50 free but the Cougars dropped a 161-93 decision to No. 17 USC in Los Angeles Friday afternoon.
The Cougars (2-2) opened the meet finishing second in the 200 medley relay and Larson, the defending Pac-12 Champion in the 50 free, used a season-best 22.96 to notch her third straight win. The senior from Rapid City, S.D. won both races against Arizona and No. 22 Arizona State two weeks ago.
"Our focus right now is to focus on ourselves, continue to improve each day and I was very excited about our effort today.
