Washington State has granted sophomore receiver Isaiah Johnson-Mack his release from his scholarship, the receiver announced on Twitter Monday night.

Johnson-Mack first announced his desire to transfer two weeks ago, citing a need to be closer to his family in Florida, and his two children. However, he and initially claimed that WSU would not grant him his release.

The Cougars gave him a conditional release. As Johnson-Mack tweeted, he’ll be allowed to transfer to any FBS schools in the state of Florida, and any FCS program. The sophomore receiver held an offer from Florida coming out of Dwyer High School, so it’ll be interesting to see if the Gators gave him a second chance.
