With some freshmen emerging this season, Washington State looks stacked at the receiver position for the next few years, and the Cougars’ receiving corps continues to get deeper.
Drue Jackson, a Rivals.com four-star receiving talent from Sachse High in Texas, committed to WSU Friday over offers from Texas Tech, Utah and more than a dozen other suitors.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver is rated by Rivals as the 42nd-best prospect at his position in the 2018 class, and is considered a huge get for the Cougars.
Jackson told Scout.com that he was drawn to WSU’s offense and Mike Leach’s throw-first, throw-often mentality.
