OJAI, Calif. – Washington State’s freshmen duo of Aneta Miksovska and Barbora Michalkova advanced to the semifinals of the Doubles Invitational Flight at the Pac-12 Championships at Ojai Valley Tennis Center, Friday afternoon.
In the opening round of the Doubles Invitational Flight, Miksovska and Michalkova bested Alexandra Aiello and Kyra Wojcik of Colorado, 6-3. The WSU freshmen pair then advanced to the semifinal round by walkover. Miksovska and Michalkova take on Arizona State’s Samantha Hampton and Kassidy Jump, ranked No. 88 nationally and the Invitational Flight’s No. 2-seed, in the semifinal round Saturday morning.
