Washington State’s defense just got a little bit faster. Oregon defensive back Myles Green-Richards submitted his singed letter of intent to join the Cougars 2018 recruiting class.
Green-Richards verbally committed in July following an impressive showing at a regional camp. It was there he ran a laser timed 40-yard draft in 4.52 seconds. That speed should play well on WSU’s defense. Green-Richards also has good size for a defensive back at 6-foot-1.
It will be interesting to see where Green-Richards settles on defense. Seemingly, he could be a factor at either corner or safety. In recent years, WSU has brought in a lot of versatile defensive backs and let them play themselves into roles, whether at safety, on the outside, or in the nickel role.
