One of the most important players in WSU’s 2018 has signed his letter of intent to come to Pullman next summer. After a bit of suspense, Arvada, Colorado running back Max Borghi faxed in his letter to Bohler Gym after the WSU coaching staff was able to flip him from his commitment to the Colorado Buffaloes in June.
What was the suspense? Well, Borghi didn’t submit his letter along with everyone else on Wednesday, as word spread that Stanford was making a late push to get him to flip. Things were pretty quiet, and most people who follow recruiting expected Borghi to hold off until the February signing period.
