With several key departures at wide receiver, Washington State is going to be looking for immediate contributors out of a deep freshman receiver class and Brandon Gray may just fit the bill. The massive three-star prospect out of Detroit took another step in being that guy on Wednesday as he became the second WSU prospect to sign during the early period.
Gray, who is listed at 6-foot-5, 172-pounds, has been firmly committed to WSU since late July despite offers from Arkansas, Iowa State, Minnesota, Syracuse and several others. Gray, who hails from Cass Technical in Detroit, Mich., took an official visit to the Palouse two weeks ago, which was the only official visit he took during his recruitment.
