WSU football recruiting: LB Jihad Woods signs with WSU

One of Washington State's first commits in the class of 2016, linebacker Jihad Woods, sent in his letter of intent to the Cougars Wednesday. Woods gave his verbal commitment back in May 2015, just weeks after WSU offered him, and stayed loyal to the Cougars throughout the recruiting process. Quarterback Ian Book was originally the first commit for the 2016 class, but he decommitted over the summer, giving Woods the distinction of the longest-committed player.
