BOULDER, Colo. – Sophomore Peter Jung lead the Washington State men's golf team as he finished the first round of play at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational 1-under; 69. The Honolulu, Hawai'i native posted his first under-par of the season to put him in a tie for 11th.
As a team, Washington State ended the first round of the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational in a four-way tie for seventh place on the team leaderboard. The Cougars ended the opening round at 4-over; 284.
Junior Preston Bebich finished the first round in a tie for 33rd on the player leaderboard, as he shot 1-over; 71.
