Washington State offensive quality control assistant Joel Filani is leaving to become the receivers coach at North Texas under Seth Littrell. Filani joined the Cougars staff in February after serving as an offensive graduate assistant at Boise State for two years. At WSU he helped Graham Harrell with the receivers.
Washington State offensive quality control assistant Joel Filani is leaving to become the receivers coach at North Texas under Seth Littrell.
Littrell, formerly the offensive coordinator at North Carolina, was hired as the head coach at North Carolina this week. He played for Mike Leach at Oklahoma in 2000, and coached running backs under Leach for four years at Texas Tech.
