WSU Cougars morning links: Luke Falk limited in Sunday’s practice

Washington State quarterback Luke Falk participated in Sunday night’s practice, but was limited, Jacob Thorpe of the Spokesman-Review reported. He was, however, “throwing and shadowing” Peyton Bender in some drills. The fact that Falk could throw at all seems to indicate that nothing is broken or torn, so that’s probably a positive thing.

It remains to be seen whether Falk will play when WSU travels to Rutgers this week. The Cougars leave Pullman on Thursday for their East Coast swing. So we can likely determine Falk’s status for the game based on whether he’s with the first string at practice on Tuesday and Wednesday.
