Over the weekend, Cougar baseball fell just short of winning their first series at Oregon State in more than a decade. And while they couldn’t pull that off, the rebounded nicely with a big win at UNLV on Tuesday.
In game one of a two game series in Las Vegas, Washington State’s offense scored early and often in a 10-5 win over the Rebels. On offense, Jake Meyer led the way for the Cougs. the catcher had a pair of hits and three RBI, including a go-ahead two-run home run in the 4th to give WSU the lead for good.
