PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State men's cross country's Chandler Teigen and volleyball's Claire Martin have been named the Academic Services Student-Athletes of the Month for October 2018.
A senior on the men's cross country and track and field teams, Teigen (Anatone, Wash.), is majoring in bioengineering, carrying a 3.91 grade point average with plans to attend medical school. A two-time cross country team captain, Teigen is a four-time Pac-12 First Team All-Academic honoree and two-time USTFCCCA Division I All-Academic team honoree and was named to the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-American third team in 2018.
