GOODYEAR, Ariz. (April 8, 2024) – Washington State women's golf wrapped up day one at the Bobcat Desert Classic in a tie for eighth place among the 17-team field, at 2-over, 290 at the par-72 Golf Club of Estrella.
"Madelyn and Alice both had a strong start to this week's tournament with under par rounds." said Head Coach Sofie Aagard. "The course is set up for birdie opportunities and they were able to capitalize on short holes where they had wedges in on approach shots. Madelyn led the team in birdies with five of them.
