CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Washington State women's golf team had two of its student-athletes recognized for their academic excellence by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) this past Tuesday, July 6, as fifth-year senior Marie Lund-Hansen and junior Amy Chu were both named WGCA All-American Scholars.
A total of 1,432 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
For Chu, this is her third-consecutive WGCA All-American Scholar selection after earning the honor in both 2019 and 2020.
