CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Washington State University women’s rowing junior, Jordan Watson, has been named to the 2015 Pocock All-America First Team and her classmate, Nicole Hare, was named to the second team, the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced Monday.
Watson and Hare both concluded their third seasons with the Cougars, Watson’s second with the varsity team and Hare’s third with the varsity squad. Both rowed with the varsity eight crew this season, leading their crew to a ninth-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Championships and an eighth-place team finish. WSU’s eighth-place finish marked the best since also finishing eighth in 2008.
