Washington State Takes Seven Strokes Off After Second Day of Competition

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - The Washington State men's golf team remains in 17th after the second day of competition at the Saint Mary's Intercollegiate, Tuesday at Poppy Hills Golf Course at Pebble Beach, Calif.

With a score of 296 (+12), the Cougars improved by seven strokes from the previous round, putting them at a two-round score of 599 (+31). Washington State sits just one stroke behind No. 36 Nevada in 16th, and two strokes ahead of Toledo.
