RADFORD, Va. -- Kyra Holt and McKenna Woodford combined for 31 kills to lead the Washington State volleyball team (2-1) to a 25-18, 25-22, 25-21 win over East Tennessee State (0-2) early Saturday morning at the Radford Highlander Invitational tournament held at the Dedmon Center.
Holt, a junior from Hercules, Calif., had 17 kills, hit .250, landed three aces and had nine digs. Woodford, a freshman from Chandler, Ariz., had 14 kills, hit .241, served one ace, had two digs and two blocks. Taylor Mims added five kills and three blocks. Haley MacDonald set 38 assists, had one ace and three blocks.
