TEMPE, Ariz. – Washington State Volleyball completed the series sweep of Arizona State Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 victory over the Sun Devils.
Set scores from the match were: 22-25, 25-16, 25-16, and 25-19 in favor of the Cougars (3-1, 3-1 Pac-12).
The opening set featured an early back-and-forth between the Cougars and the Sun Devils of Arizona State (1-3, 1-3 Pac-12), until a 5-1 scoring run from WSU gave the Cougs a 7-5 advantage. Washington State saw hot offensive starts from , , , and . Another 5-1 run from the Cougars put the score at 12-9, after an incredible block from Williams and Timmer.
