UW men picked 10th and WSU 12th in Pac-12 preseason poll

First-year Washington coach won’t be saddled with heavy expectations as the Huskies were predicted to finish 10th in the Pac-12 by media in the conference’s preseason poll.

For the third straight year, Washington State was picked last.

Arizona, which returns three starters from last year’s team that won was Pac-12 regular season co-champions and captured the conference tournament title, was the near-unanimous pick to win the league title again.

The Wildcats captured 22 of a possible 23 first-place votes.

USC collected the other first-place vote and finished second in the poll followed by UCLA, Oregon, Stanford and Arizona State.
