USC women rally in 4th quarter to beat Washington State

The Trojans trailed 69-65 before going on an 8-0 run to take control. Washington State’s 17 turnovers led to 26 USC points.

PULLMAN – Aliyah Mazyck scored 25 points, including consecutive baskets during a game-deciding run, and USC rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Washington State 73-72 in a women’s basketball game Friday night.

The Trojans (14-6 overall, 4-5 Pac-12) trailed 69-65 when they went on an 8-0 run over a two-minute span that included three WSU turnovers to lead 73-69 with a minute left. The Cougars, down by a point, started the last possession of the game with 17 seconds left but failed to get a shot off.
