LOS ANGELES (October 30, 2021) – Washington State Women's Swimming recorded three individual wins but dropped a 169-91 decision at UCLA Saturday afternoon.
"We competed well against a very good USC team yesterday but we weren't as sharp as we would have liked today," head coach Matt Leach said. "We had some nice swims from Angela (Di Palo), Chloe (Larson) and Taylor (McCoy) who each won their events. We will get back home to Pullman and continue to work and get ready for our home meet against Grand Canyon. Go Cougs!"
Freshman Angela Di Palo continued her impressive start to her Cougar career, notching her fourth win of the season and third against a Pac-12 Conference opponent after claiming the 200 free with a season-high time.
