Cougars continue outdoor success led by Scharmann, Charles, and Fredrickson.
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Washington State University Track and Field program continued the solid start of the 2019 outdoor season, with a successful trip to the Sam Adams Invitational, where the Cougars claimed 13 total overall wins at the two day meet.
Anchoring the Cougars was junior who took first overall in the pole vault event with a mark of 13-feet 5 inches (4.09-meters). Scharmann's vault also set a new event record at the Sam Adams Invite, breaking the previous mark of 4.01-meters in 2014.
