As you’ve probably noticed, it’s a big week in Pullman.
On Monday, Nick Rolovich became the head coach of Cougar football. On Thursday, he holds his first press conference and WSU basketball hosts #8 Oregon. Then on Saturday, to cap everything off, Klay Thompson returns to Pullman to become just the second WSU basketball player to have his number retired during Washington State’s game against Oregon State.
Saturday’s ceremony for Thompson was already set to be a gigantic event. But today, we got an idea of just how big it’s going to be.
