SEATTLE - On a frigid night in Seattle, 110 minutes proved to not be enough to decide a winner in the 2017 Apple Cup as the Cougs (9-7-3, 4-6-1) battled to a 0-0, double-overtime, draw with Washington (9-8-3, 2-6-3) Saturday night. Playing dead even throughout the night, the two teams battled to a standstill as neither side ceded an inch of ground. Early on, the Cougs arguably had the best scoring chance of the night when a pair of close up headers off a corner missed their mark as Maegan O'Neill's attempt was blocked before Grace Hancock's attempt sailed just high.
