Soccer Returns Home to Host Cowgirls and Titans

THIS WEEK

The Washington State University women’s soccer team (4-0-0) returns to Pullman to welcome nonconference foes Oklahoma State (2-3-0) and Cal State Fullerton (6-0-0)…the undefeated Cougars face the Cowgirls, Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at WSU’s Lower Soccer Field…the match will be televised on Pac-12 Washington…Jason Knapp and Christopher Sullivan will be on the call…WSU will welcome the visiting Titans to the Palouse, Sunday, Sept. 13 for a noon matchup…a live stream will be available at www.wsucougars.com, called by Trevor Williams…live stats will be available for both matches at www.wsucougars.com.

ABOUT THE COWGIRLS

Oklahoma State is led by head coach Colin Carmichael in his 11th season…Carmichael led the Cowgirls to a 10-10-1 record last season, including a second-place finish in the Big 12 and a berth into the NCAA Championship…Washington State and OSU have met two previous times, most recently in 2013…the Cougars walked away from Stillwater, Okla.
