PULLMAN, Wash. (May 12, 2022) – Washington State infielders Jack Smith and Jacob McKeon were both named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Thursday.
McKeon was named as the designated hitter and Smith as an infielder, WSU's first Academic All-District selections since pitcher A.J. Block earned the honor in 2020.
Smith is in his fifth season at WSU and is a three-time Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll selection, earned his bachelor's degree in finance last spring and currently owns a 4.00 GPA while working on his master's in business administration.
