BURNABY, B.C. – The Washington State women's rowing team completed its weekend of competition at Burnaby Lake, competing in the Burnaby Small Boat Regatta, Sunday, Oct. 8. The Cougars raced two single sculls, and eight pairs comprising the varsity and JV boats. The 4-kilometer head race was followed by an afternoon 250m sprint final for the top six finishers in each event.
Elle Kadir sculled a single in the women's race, finishing fifth with a time of 19:44.39 to earn qualification into the afternoon sprint final. In the 250-meter sprint final, Kadir finished fourth in 55.
