Rieken Equalizes in Tie Against Colorado

Box Score PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women's soccer team (7-1-2) tied visiting Colorado, 1-1, at Lower Soccer Field Thursday night in the first home conference game of the season. WSU's Bridget Rieken scored the Cougars' equalizing goal in the 78th minute to draw level with the Buffaloes and secure the second tie of the season.

Throughout the match, the Cougars dominated possession and chances, but it was Colorado with the opening goal, in the 11th minute, against the run of play. CU's Civana Kuhlmann jumped on a loose ball at the top of the WSU box, turned and fired a shot past a diving Nadia Cooper.
