Will Mike Leach leave Washington State to become the head coach of the University of Tennessee football program?
According to a report by Newy Scruggs of the Dallas/Fort Worth NBC affiliate KXAS-TV, something is in the works to bring Leach from Pullman to Knoxville.
Sources tell @NBCDFWSports that former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach is working on a deal to become the next coach at Tennessee. A deal could be announced Friday. I’m working on more details.

Leach was reportedly in Tennessee for lunch with the school’s athletic director John Currie, according to A to Z Sports Nashville.
