SAN FRANCISCO – Washington State football student-athletes Peyton Pelluer was named to the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic Second Team, highlighting five Cougars who received all-academic honors, Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced Tuesday.
Pelluer, a redshirt-sophomore, has tallied a team-leading 87 tackles (7.9 per game) this season, fifth-best in the Pac-12. That includes 10 tackles-for-loss (T-9th), along with two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He recorded a career-high 14 tackles in WUS’s win over Wyoming and has two additional double-digit tackle games this season. The Sammamish, Wash. native owns a 3.57 grade point average while pursuing a degree in history.
