Offense Comes Alive in 14-3 Rout of Prairie View A&M

EDINBURG, Texas – Washington State pounded out 16 hits and used an eight-run seventh inning to post a 14-3 victory over Prairie View A&M University in the Al Ogletree Classic Saturday. The game was called after the seventh inning due to the 10-run rule.

WSU (3-4) saw eight players record hits led by Trek Stemp’s second four-hit performance in the last three games. Stemp also drove in four runs, scored three times and stole two bases. Patrick McGrath tallied three hits and three RBI, Derek Chapman added two hits and three RBI and Dugan Shirer recorded two hits and scored three times.
