The No. 19 Washington State Cougars control their own destiny in the Pac-12 North with two games to play, but those final two won’t be easy. Before an Apple Cup date with Washington on Nov. 25, the Cougs head to Salt Lake City to face the Utah Utes on Saturday afternoon. The Utes looked to be contenders for the Pac-12 crown themselves early in the season, but a four-game skid ended those hopes.
Utah did bounce back in a big way last week, however, with a 48-17 blowout win over UCLA. The Utes have also played two of the conference’s top teams—Stanford and USC—tough, losing by a combined four points to the current Pac-12 division leaders.
