Add another point of intrigue to the beginning of Seattle’s training camp on Friday as NFL.com is reporting that safety Kam Chancellor wants more money and is considering holding out.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport wrote that “Chancellor wants more money, has told Seattle that he’s strongly considering a camp holdout to make it happen.”
Chancellor signed a five-year extension in April, 2013, worth $35 million over five years with $17 million in guaranteed money. However, his contract does not include any more guaranteed money after this season, when he is due for a base salary of $4.
