The NFL preseason rolled on this week with nearly all of the games in the books. That meant another week of 10 former Cougar football players trying to make NFL rosters and advance their careers.
Unlike last week when Shalom Luani shined, there were no major standouts among the group of Cougars this week.

Deone Bucannon - Arizona Cardinals - Linebacker/Safety
Bucannon remains out with an injury, but appears on track to return for the start of the regular season.
Xavier Cooper - Cleveland Browns - Defensive Line
Cooper will get a chance to showcase his skills Monday night on national television as the Browns take on the Giants.
