Nadia Cooper named Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week

Washington State freshman goalkeeper Nadia Cooper won the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday after a weekend in which she allowed just one goal while facing two top-10 programs in USC and UCLA. This is the second award of the season for the freshman out of Houston, Texas.

In Thursdays game against USC, she tallied 5 saves during her 110:00 minutes of action. She held the 5th ranked team in the nation that averages 2.8 goals per game this season to their first shut out since August 19th. The trojans had 19 shots during the game and failed to find the back of the net.
