BANGKOK, Thailand - A summer after helping Team Australia earn their place in the FIBA Under-19 World Cup, sophomore Ula Motuga earned her spot on the Gem's World Cup squad this summer as the team goes for gold in Bangkok, Thailand. Motuga joins 12 of her compatriots as they play in Goup C in pool play beginning July 20. The tournament runs from July 20-28.
Australia enters the tournament ranked No.7 in the world with a team full of experienced young talent who took home the bronze medal at the U-17 World Cup last summer.
