Minnesota football team threatens bowl game boycott

Washington State Football has a date in San Diego December 27, but could get stood up. Players on the other team selected for the Holiday Bowl, Minnesota, are threatening to boycott the game.

Thursday night, the Gophers met with the media and announced that they are boycotting all football activities in protest of the suspension of 10 of their teammates. The suspensions were announced Tuesday and are the result of a September sexual assault allegation.

After the allegation was made Ray Buford, KiAnte Hardin, Dior Johnson and Tamarion Johnson were originally suspended three games to start the season.
