JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. – The Washington State men's golf team jumps back into action this Monday, as the Cougars open play in The Joust Tournament, hosted by Cal Baptist. The two-day tournament will take place at Goose Creek Golf Club and run from Feb. 22-23.
The Joust is a tournament like no other at the NCAA level, as three champions will be crowned at the tournament. An individual medalist will be awarded, a team champion will be awarded, and then an All-Five Team Champion will be crowned. Most tournaments allow five golfers to compete, with only four counting scores going towards the team score.
