PULLMAN, Wash. – The WSU Men's Cross Country team is ranked first in the USTFCCCA West Region for the first time in program history, the association announced Monday morning. The team's performance at the Nuttycombe Invitational this past weekend elevated their ranking by three spots from last week.
Solomon Kipchoge's second place finish and Evans Kurui's fifth place finish highlighted the men's team showing at the Nuttycombe. Josphat Meli also helped the Cougs, finishing inside of the top 30 with an impressive time of 23 minutes and 44.3 seconds.
