PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State freshman forward Borislava Hristova was selected to the All-Pac-12 and Pac-12 All-Freshman Teams by the Pac-12 media, conference commissioner Larry Scott announced Wednesday.
Hristova was selected to the five-member Pac-12 All-Freshman Team and named an honorable mention on the All-Pac-12 Team by the conference’s coaches, Monday.
A native of Varna, Bulgaria, Hristova leads the Cougars in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game, second-best in the conference by a freshman. Hristova already holds the all-time record at Washington State for best career free throw percentage at .897. So far she has recorded eight games with at least 20 points, breaking a freshman record that stood for over 26 years.
