The Columbia Bank near the South Hill Mall in Puyallup was robbed around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Puyallup police news release.
The robber, caught on camera, left on foot, the release says. He’s described as a white, age 20-to-30, and around 5-foot-5-inches tall. In security footage, he was wearing a blue Seattle Mariners hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, a baseball hat and sunglasses. He reportedly has a “scruffy reddish-colored beard and mustache.”
It’s unclear whether he was armed.
The police department asks anyone with information about the robbery at 4220 S. Meridian.
