Makayla Miller threw a no-hitter Thursday night, striking out six in four innings as Washington beat Utah 10-0 and advanced to the regional final in the Little League Softball West Region tournament in San Bernardino, Calif.
Miller threw 10 first-pitch strikes. Catcher Haley Winckler had two hits.
Washington plays the winner of the Northern California vs. Hawaii semifinal on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The winner of that game advances to the Little League Softball World Series.
